Custom Performance. Engineered Without Compromise.
Combining advanced manufacturing and engineering design to create bespoke components tailored to the rider.
Why?
Watts the Difference.CC was born from a passion for innovation, engineering, and design, combined with a frustration at the high cost of premium custom cockpits and specialised cycling components. Our mission is to make custom, high-performance products more accessible—without compromising on quality, performance, or attention to detail.
The Beginning.
Believe it or not, one of our very first creations was the Canyon Cardboardmax. You may have seen the memes, but after countless late nights armed with nothing more than a craft knife, a recycled bike box, and a bottle of PVA glue, we built an almost rideable, life-sized, and dimensionally accurate cardboard Canyon Speedmax.
The cardboard version was soon followed by a LEGO edition. This time the frame was waterproof—though, unfortunately, still not rideable.
After the novelty of building bikes from cardboard and LEGO, a new question emerged: could we create something that was actually functional? That curiosity sparked an obsession with 3D design, additive manufacturing, and engineering, ultimately setting us on the path that became Watts the Difference.CC.
So, “Watts” is the Difference?
Off-the-shelf options often require compromise. Our goal is to create custom components that are virtually indistinguishable from factory products—delivering a seamless fit, premium finish, and uncompromising performance.
The safety of our riders and the durability of every product are our highest priorities. Each component is individually tested and refined throughout the design process to ensure it meets our standards for strength, reliability, and performance before it reaches you.
Disclaimer: We make every reasonable effort to meet UCI, World Triathlon, and other applicable regulations and dimensional requirements. Compliance is not guaranteed. Customers are responsible for verifying that their equipment complies with the rules and measurements for their intended event or competition.
